blogger went nuts and didn't post the thingy i took from mut's blog. too lazy to do it again!
anyway, to help ade and her big rant on her gaining fat and stuff, here's what i got from this week's edition of women's weekly. they had extra information on some of them, but i'll leave that out. my fingers will die.
20 Ways to Lose Weight Without Dieting.
1. always eat breakfast
2. look out for healthy labels on food.
[do you know that a Big Mac has less fat than Chicken Rice?]
3. Downsize dinnerware.
4.Use blue cutlery [blue is a hunger suppressant colour]
5. Eat more often, but in small portions each time.
6. Go for good fats, like in oily fish and walnuts.
7. Cut down on tv [studies prove that watching tv causes you to eat more]
8. Smell a green apple, banana or peppermint if you get a sugar craving.
9. Eat slowly. Very Slowly.
10. Think about what you're eating before you decide to devour it.
11. Drink from tall glasses.
12. Sleep. Lack of sleep affects leptin, the hormone that makes you feel full.
13. Eat healthy snacks, like raw vegetables and fruits instead of cookies.
14. Put a mirror in front of the refrigerator.
15. Eat first, Shop Later.
16. Satisfy cravings occassionally.
17. Trick your brain to think you're eating more by eating big fluffy things like foamy latte or a smootie.
18.Drink water instead of a cookie.
19. Eat more fibre.
20. Choose low fat dairy products.
Yupp. I'm quite happy to announce I lost weight. Enough to be kicked out of TAF I think. Though I need to go do some TAF sessions and weigh myself before I can smack Mrs Tan in the face and say "HA! I didn't even do my TAF sessions regularly." Wahahahaha. I feel so mean to even think of that. But perhaps after I lost enough weight [when I lose enough weight, not if], till I'm happy, I'll go bikini shopping with my mother. Going with Ade and Mut is too depressing. Mut has nice legs and Ade has a nice butt. So I'll just go with my mother. Plus our tastes don't match. What I find nice, you might not, and start criticizing my choice.
